good news campaign

economic proof it's good to go to the pub?

yes that's right we finally have a good reason to go to the pub

A review of the state’s liquor licensing laws threatened to impact the future of South Australian hotels as we know it.

While these proposed changes were being deliberated in local parliament, a campaign was created to highlight the positive contribution South Australian hotels make to our state by supporting the local economy, providing employment opportunities and acting as a platform for live music.

‘The Good News’ sought to highlight the positive contribution South Australian hotels make to our state

Cheers to that!

HOW WE CONVINCED PEOPLE TO GO TO THE PUB (LIKE YOU NEEDED MORE CONVINCING…)

‘The Good News’ campaign played an important role in helping to sway the parliamentary decision to reject some of the proposed changes that would’ve undoubtedly affected the hospitality industry.

The Result

As a result, the campaign succeeded in protecting an industry that remains 87 per cent family owned, employs 26,250 South Australians and contributes $1.227 billion annually to the local economy. We’ll drink to that!
